Umut Nazif Çelik

Umut Nazif Çelik is a graduate of Galatasaray University Law School and holds a master’s degree in European Union Studies from Galatasaray University and Executive MBA from Koç University.

He began his career at international law firms where he was assisting clients as associate lawyer in connection with mergers&acquisitions, privatisations, cross-border transactions and corporate law matters. After several years at law firms, he moved to in-house role at Koç Holding, where he was primarily in charge of leading legal process for international and strategic transactions including the joint ventures, acquisitions or divestitures. In 2019, he is appointed as General Counsel of Beko and is leading globally all legal, compliance and IP matters of the group companies together with his teams around the world.             

He is a member of Turkish Corporate Governance Association, Association of Corporate Counsel Europe and Koç University Alumni Association.
