Zeynep Özbil

Zeynep Özbil holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University, a master's degree in European Strategic and International Studies from the University of Brussels and a graduate degree in public administration and international economic development from Cornell University.

She began her career as a Social Policy Specialist at the European Union and International Relations Department of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. From 2001 to 2002, she was a Development Advisor in social development, stakeholder relations management and peer communication at the UNICEF HQ and served as a Social Development Specialist at the World Bank HQ between 2002 and 2008. Her international career led Özbil to conduct research and manage development projects for over 25 countries.

In 2008, Özbil returned to Turkey and joined Bersay Communications Group as a partner. In 2010, she became the Director of Turkcell Corporate Citizenship, overseeing corporate social responsibility projects, stakeholder management, and sponsorships. Since 2016, Zeynep Özbil has been the Global Communications Executive Director at Beko.
